You can use iLivid 5.0.0.4612 to add torrents with the Plus button, which opens the download function of the app. Another way in which you can use the download function is to enter a link to the video or add a torrent magnet link, which gives another useful function. After that you have to click the Download button right next to the empty bar, which is used for the place where to paste the link. Once you do it you can pause the download at any time to increase the speed of your Internet access. After you download the video you can play it, as the app uses VLC Player.
Interface
The interface of iLivid is simple enough so that everyone can use it. To ensure that it will be user friendly the developer has made the program usable in German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and of course English. Another side of the program that makes it user friendly is that when you start it the app shows with arrows how to add a torrent, where to add a link and from where to start the download. A minus of the interface is that you can't change the way the app looks, because there are no such options in the menus. Actually, the lack of more options is the main problem of the program, but we should not be picky when we talk about free programs, which on top of it do their job perfectly.
Basic Operations
In the link section you can paste links that are from streaming media and you can start watching them with VLC Player, but in this section there is a small flaw of the program. Even though you can watch streaming videos, you can't save them, which somewhat limits the usability of the app. But all other functions work great and we were amazed by the speed with which iLivid downloaded files. While you download files you can play them, which is a curious function of the app. Also you can set up at which percent of the download they can be played and also the number of maximum downloads and bandwidth.
Conclusion
The only thing that we missed while using iLivid was that the program doesn't have a lot of options. But the main thing which it was created for works perfectly. The app downloads every video file that you want very quickly and on top of it you can play it even while downloading it.
