Microsoft finally releases Office apps for iPad

It has taken Microsoft a really long time to release an office suite for the Apple iPad but the software is finally here. Starting now iPad users can find Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint in the App Store for iPad. The development of the software is estimated to have started in the year 2010 but various reasons and problems have delayed it until now. The time spent waiting seems to be worth it as users now have access to versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint for free but with a limited feature set.
