HJSplit 3.0

The user interface of HJSplit is nicely designed and looks well-organized. Most of the upper window area is taken by the application logo. Six buttons which initiate all the tasks the program can do are located underneath it. Believe it or not, but maybe for some diversity, the developer has designed each of the different task windows in different colors. Split window is colored in brown, join window is green, compare window is pink and checksum is yellow.

Basic Operations

Each one of the different tasks HJSplit offers can be executed in one simple step. Let's say you want to split a file. All you need to do is to choose your file, the destination folder and the split file size. Then you just click on Start and the program will do the rest. The Join task is similar. The program only needs from you to point only the first file of the many that have to be joined.

To summarize, we can tell you that HJSplit 3.0 is a very quick and reliable program that can help you when no one else can. You can try to use an archiving program to decrease the size of one or many files that you need to send to someone. But when the archiving apps are helpless HJSplit can be the software of the day for you.
